Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Market Risk professional to join our team as a Vice President.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the implementation of strategic change and regulatory initiatives within the Risk Management Global Book of Work. This includes covering Regulatory, Strategic, and incremental business change.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 8 years' experience, with at least 5 years of project management experience ideally in Market Risk or Counterparty Credit Risk management or Risk Technology as a Project or Program manager.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead several key workstreams to deliver across a number of risk management initiatives. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to agree project scope and manage the project scope throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all resources that form part of the delivery team for the project(s), incorporating all resources and their activities into clearly stated defendable plans for the project(s).
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders across various levels of seniority and experience.
  • Clearly define success criteria for each stage of the project and ensure timely completion of all tasks within the project plan.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the Market Risk or Counterparty Credit Risk domain and metrics such as Value-at-Risk (VaR), Expected Shortfall, Internal Ratings-Based (IRC) approach, Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), Exposure at Default (EAD), Potential Future Exposure (PFE), Economic Equivalence of Potential Future Exposure (EEPE), VaR, and Regulatory Capital Weighted Added (RWA).
  • Understand risk data flows and architecture including risk limits.
  • Be proficient in using various tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Microsoft Project to manage project deliverables.
  • Demonstrate the ability to utilize and adapt delivery methodologies to suit projects, stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Show excellent presentational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at various levels within the organization.
