Compliance Officer Job Summary

This is a pivotal role in ensuring the company's compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, organizing board meetings, drafting and reviewing documents, filing returns, and upholding governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate statutory records, including minute-taking at board meetings and other corporate events.

Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents, such as constitutional documents, meeting minutes, and resolutions.

Filing returns and other regulatory submissions on time, accurately, and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in corporate governance.

Coordinating with external advisors, auditors, and regulators to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

Graduate degree in law or commerce; ACS (Associate Company Secretary) or CS (Company Secretary) qualification highly desirable.

Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate governance and compliance.

Proven track record of managing complex records systems and coordinating high-profile projects.

Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and Compliance Management Software.

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing deadlines.
