Product Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineering Manager to lead the development of new and emerging product lines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the execution of product roadmaps, serving as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps in collaboration with strategy, product, and business teams.
  • Serve as a technical expert and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and deploy tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to enhance product engineer productivity.
  • Own all non-functional requirements (NFRs) for products, ensuring they meet company standards.

You will also contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members, adapt quickly based on user and business feedback and metrics.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Experience in product development companies is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and management methods.
  • Able to use off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch.
  • Value progress over perfection and have a track record of shipping value to customers.
  • Hands-on experience with Typescript and JavaScript-based front-end frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte.
  • Well-versed in service-oriented architecture and have built and deployed RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Experience building and shipping features for high-traffic web applications and mobile applications.
  • Good understanding of RDBMS (preferably MySQL) and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with using observability tools to identify and isolate problems.

Qualifications & Experience:

BE/B.Tech or any equivalent degree with 12 - 20 years of relevant experience.
