Senior Medical Coding Director Noida Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Coding Director to lead our Multispecialty Coding Services team. The ideal candidate will have over 17+ years of experience in medical coding, with a proven track record of managing large teams of 250 to 600 coders.

The Senior Medical Coding Director will oversee daily operations, including workload and staffing; hiring, disciplining, and performance appraisals; training; and monitoring quality of work. They will also develop long-range and short-term goals, objectives, plans, and programs and ensure their implementation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the coding unit, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve data accessibility and resolve problems.
  • Oversee and monitor the coding compliance program, developing educational and training programs for staff.
  • Ensure regulatory, policy, and guideline changes are disseminated and communicated effectively.
  • Conduct and oversee coding audit efforts, analyzing trends and variations in coding practices.
  • Review claim denials and rejections, implementing corrective action plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualification: Any Graduate (preferably from Life Science background)
  • Experience: 17+ years of experience in Multispecialty Coding and substantial team management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong managerial, leadership, analytical, interpersonal skills, and outstanding organizational skills.
  • Hands-on experience in generating reports using MS Office - Excel, Word, and MS PowerPoint.
