Business Development Leader Job Description

As a business development leader, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the public sector market. Your primary focus will be on building strategic relationships with government agencies and organizations to deliver customized solutions that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in sales and business development. You should also be able to analyze complex data and identify opportunities for growth. In addition, you should be proficient in MS Office and have a strong understanding of business operations.

  1. Develop and implement business growth strategies to expand our presence in the public sector market
  2. Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies and organizations
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other methods
  4. Analyze complex data to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations to management
  5. Prepare and present reports to management on sales and revenue performance
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions to clients

Key qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in business administration or education
  • Experience in sales and business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify opportunities for growth
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Managing client relationships from end-to-end
  • Preparing approach notes and proposal documents
  • Communicating with clients to inform them of ongoing services
  • Creating frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
