About the Role

At Astellas Pharma Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Professional to join our team as a Digital Tester, SCM-DTS. This role will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test objectives, develop test strategies, and execute manual and automated tests to ensure continuous integration and deployment readiness.
  • Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate the functionality and usability of our digital products.
  • Identify, log, and track defects and inconsistencies, working closely with the development team to facilitate quick resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices in Agile testing, and contribute to the enhancement of automated testing practices and tools.
  • Participate in retrospective meetings to suggest improvements to make the development process more efficient.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst, Test Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and scripting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of testing processes and methods, and in using testing tools like ALM.
  • Good knowledge in SAP materials management/logistics execution functionality – (MRP), sourcing, inventory management, material valuation, delivery processing (inbound/outbound), local and legal regulations.
  • Good knowledge of various procurement processes like intra/intercompany procurement, subcontracting, serialization.
  • Good Knowledge of SAP-ITM/GTS (focus on ITM) for denied party, import/export, licenses, and INTRASTAT.
  • Must have hands-on SAP experience in configuration and testing of all the Supply Chain modules, as in MM, PUR, LE, IM, LO, BM, QM, MRP, PP, PM, WM etc.
  • Should also have hands on exposure to integration of MM/Logistic execution functions with other modules like FI, CO, SD.
  • Knowledge of integration with 3PL warehouse solutions, Supplier Portals, Track and Trace, and similar other logistics 3rd party systems.
  • In- depth knowledge of FIORI, Analytics, Reporting, Gen-AI, ML.
  • Very Strong GxP knowledge.
