Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Negotiator and Lawyer to join our team. As a Senior Contract Negotiator and Lawyer, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex financial and derivative contracts with clients across various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating prime brokerage agreements, master agreements, trade documents, and other related contracts;
  • Handling multiple negotiations simultaneously and responding to queries from clients and stakeholders;
  • Liaising with business stakeholders and corporate divisions to obtain approval on risks and deviations;
  • Identifying and highlighting potential risks and liaising with law firms to mitigate them;
  • Providing commercially savvy legal advice to clients based on in-depth research and study of applicable laws;
  • Staying up-to-date with changing laws and regulations;
  • Advising clients on queries related to agreements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Law graduate with at least LLB degree;
  • 2-5 years of experience in contract drafting and negotiations;
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills;
  • Good understanding of financial and derivative contracts;
  • Excellent analytical and legal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Knowledge of various Indian laws.
