Senior Manager Data Analytics Job Overview

This leadership role oversees data-driven strategies to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation across Fulfillment & Logistics. The Senior Manager Data Analytics will lead a team of analytics professionals and partner with business leaders to inform decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end supply planning cycles, translating demand forecasts into supply plans for inbound/outbound/returns.
  • Collaborate with demand planning, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure adequate capacity is available.
  • Lead seasonal and promotional event planning, including inventory build-up strategies and temporary storage solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including daily attainment, capacity utilization, promise quality, etc.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing teams of Planners and Analysts.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Product, and Technology to translate business problems into structured analytical projects.
  • Build scalable data frameworks, planning models, and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
  • Drive forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking for key operational metrics.
  • Implement advanced analytical techniques to anticipate trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Champion automation and self-service tools to empower teams.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Strategic Analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in e-commerce, supply chain, fulfillment, or logistics.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional analytics projects that drive measurable business impact.
  • Deep expertise in SQL, BigQuery, and modern data analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in data visualization platforms.
  • Strong statistical foundation and experience with forecasting, predictive modeling, regression, clustering, classification techniques.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Strong leadership qualities: ability to inspire, coach, and build high-performing teams.
