Supply Chain Digital Transformation Lead

Purpose of the Role:

Our organization seeks a seasoned Supply Chain Digital Transformation Lead to spearhead data-driven strategies that enhance procurement, planning, and distribution processes. This critical role requires an expert in leveraging advanced analytics and AI/ML to optimize operations and drive high-quality healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive supply chain data science strategy that optimizes supply chain operations and aligns with procurement and planning objectives.
  • Identify and integrate key data sources for enhanced visibility and accuracy in procurement decisions and planning processes.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies for data collection, analysis, and visualization capabilities.

Advanced Analytics and Modeling:

  • Deploy scientific replenishment strategies in Trade (India and Global markets).
  • Design and implement predictive AI/ML models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Explore and implement advanced analytics techniques to derive insights from large datasets.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and ensure alignment on data initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on data science methodologies.
  • Communicate findings and project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.

Master Data Governance and Quality Assurance:

  • Develop master data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, quality, and security.
  • Design and oversee data quality checks and validation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Develop key performance indicators to measure the impact of data science initiatives.
  • Regularly report on analytical projects and their outcomes.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess effectiveness.

Education:

A Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Experience:

At least 12-15 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, with a focus on procurement, planning, third-party manufacturing, or distribution.
