Procurement Specialist Job Overview

Build iconic renewable projects that transform India's energy landscape.

  • Partner with suppliers to source materials locally within budget limits.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely material availability in line with the construction schedule.
  • Align with the SCM team on procurement status, vendor approvals, and project SCM deliverables.
  • Maintain a database of local vendors for civil items and consumables.
  • Ensure procurement adheres to company policies, compliance, and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and consumables.
  • Understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with procurement documentation (POs, GRN, invoices).
  • Excellent coordination and negotiation skills for supplier interaction.
  • Ability to work closely with site teams and SCM under tight timelines.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP/SCM tools (desired).
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant SCM/procurement experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain of construction/renewable/industrial projects.
  • Prior site-based SCM/procurement exposure preferred.
