The ideal candidate will oversee Azure resource allocation, manage Office 365 applications and related tools, ensuring high availability, security, and performance throughout the organization. This role will work closely with IT teams to drive continuous improvement in cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management:
    • Deploy, configure and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and other Azure services.
    • Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related identity management solutions.
    • Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs.
  • Office 365 Support:
    • Manage and administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365, ensuring compliance and security.
    • Provide technical guidance on Office 365 best practices and troubleshoot issues across the organization.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Office 365 service issues.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Develop and implement security protocols to safeguard against data breaches and cyber threats.
    • Enforce strict access controls and monitor for potential security vulnerabilities.
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Automation & Optimization:
    • Design and implement scripts using PowerShell to automate routine tasks and streamline workflows.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop automation solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for cloud infrastructure configurations and procedures.
    • Conduct training sessions and provide expert guidance on cloud administration best practices.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience working with Azure cloud services, Office 365 administration, and related Microsoft tools.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for cloud automation and workflow optimization.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are highly valued.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in cloud security principles and risk management strategies.
