Cloud Storage Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Storage Specialist to develop and maintain scalable storage systems across hybrid and cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and optimize distributed storage systems including Ceph, ZFS, and NFS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
  • Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available, scalable storage and container orchestration systems.
