Cloud Innovation Manager

The role of a Cloud Solutions Architect is to oversee the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions. This includes conducting proof-of-concept and prototyping, defining integration design and security design for web services and enterprise component development, and working on networking and security topics as an AWS cloud administrator.

• Conduct POC and prototyping of Cloud solutions
• Define Integration Design and Security Design for the Web Services and Enterprise component development
• Work on networking and security topics as an AWS cloud administrator
• Work with storage management like AWS-Storage
• Work extensively on AWS-EKS
• Create and manage Docker images
• Perform cloud cost analysis, estimations, and apply best practices
• Manage Kubernetes (k8s) system services and worker nodes
• Work with Database Administration and DBMS
• Create documentation and design documents
• Provide estimates for the requirements
• Engage with the senior architecture group, collaborate with internal technology teams, and contribute to internal initiatives
• Good understanding of Kubernetes API and client libraries (Postgres, Redis, Prometheus, etc.)
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code concepts

1. Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience with hands-on coding and ability to program independently
2. Must have AWS Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
3. Strong Linux/UNIX experience
4. Hands-on experience in Terraform
5. Experience in AWS Cloud platforms across a wide range of services
6. Experience in implementing AWS Cloud Security
7. Experience using Postgres databases (preferred)
8. Knowledge of Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, and Route 53 for traffic management
9. Experience with Network Access Control List, VPC peering, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail
10. Ability to design Highly Available and/or Fault-Tolerant Architectures
11. Experience with open-source technologies and tools
12. Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-scale solutions in Kubernetes
13. Understanding of optimized coding for memory consumption, performance, scalability, security, caching, etc.
14. Experience with Docker, HELM, and Kubernetes (mandatory)
15. Experience working with scripting languages (YAML)
16. Experience with stateless/stateful applications deployed on Kubernetes in production environments
17. Working experience with AWS and Kubernetes API
18. Experience with reporting and analysis tools for cloud platforms
19. Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines from scratch

• Background in Java for API development

1. Strong development skills for Kubernetes SaaS applications
2. Kubernetes deployment, networking, and persistent storage
3. Kubernetes Role-based access control (RBAC), UNIX RBAC, OpenID Connectors, RSA SSL keys, JWT, certificate management
4. Node, Pod, and Container runtime hardening
5. Knowledge of cloud design patterns for timeouts, delays, transient faults, cascading failures, and SaaS service overload
6. Experience with Load Balancing, DNS, and data caching techniques
7. Ability to instrument distributed applications for monitoring and troubleshooting
8. Manage environments using Terraform – write Terraform code to maintain environment states
