Senior Network Engineer

As a seasoned network engineer, you will be responsible for handling second-level support and service requests. Your expertise will be essential in providing top-level support for network issues, including the implementation of new networks and troubleshooting outages. Additionally, you will support clients with technical issues involving Microsoft applications and operating systems. You must respond to and resolve alerts and tickets generated from the monitoring system and/or customer requests in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Handle second-level support and service requests
- Provide top-level support for network issues, including implementation of new networks and troubleshooting outages
- Support clients with technical issues involving Microsoft applications and operating systems
- Respond to and resolve alerts and tickets generated from the monitoring system and/or customer requests in a timely fashion
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Networking fundamentals (WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless, security)
- Remote access solution implementation and support (IPSEC VPN)
- Understanding of DNS/DHCP
- Experience with Command Line Interfaces to manage computer equipment
- IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education or training desired
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a network engineer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
