Job Title: Data Warehouse Developer

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Data Integrator ODI as the underlying ETL tool in our Analytics Datawarehouse.

The key requirements of this position include:

  • Designing data warehouses
  • Maintaining data warehouses
  • Developing and supporting ETL processes
  • Fine-tuning their performance

Additional responsibilities include providing solution designs, implementing, migrating, and supporting Oracle BI Tool stack especially ODI and SQL. You will also be responsible for ODI development, enhancements, and support in the OBIA Environment, along with performance tuning of SQL programs.

A strong understanding of data warehousing concepts like Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs), Dimensional Modeling, Archive strategy, Aggregation, Hierarchy, etc., and database concepts like Partitioning, Materialized views, etc., is required.

Experience in migration and deployment activities in Oracle BI tool stack (ODI), Kintana, and PVCS, along with knowledge of OBIEE and strong Oracle database experience including complex SQL, query debug, and optimization are necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide prompt and effective support, maintenance, and development of Oracle Data Integrator ODI as the underlying ETL tool in our Analytics Datawarehouse.
  2. Design and implement data warehouses, ensuring efficient data processing and retrieval.
  3. Develop and maintain ETL processes, optimizing their performance for faster results.
  4. Implement and support Oracle BI Tool stack, specifically ODI and SQL, ensuring seamless integration.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including SCDs, Dimensional Modeling, and Archive strategy.
  • Proficiency in Oracle database management, including complex SQL queries and optimization techniques.
  • Experience in migration and deployment activities in Oracle BI tool stack (ODI), Kintana, and PVCS.
  • Knowledge of OBIEE and strong Oracle database experience.
