About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Pune. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to hands-on development. You will work with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that are scalable and reliable. This position involves not only writing code but also participating in code reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including system design, architecture, and implementation.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and production issues.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, helping to elevate the team's overall skill set.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends, particularly in AI for development productivity, and apply them to improve our products and processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in software design, architecture, and development.
  • Proficiency in foundational programming languages, specifically C, C++, and Java.
  • Experience with design patterns and software engineering best practices.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and data modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge and experience in leveraging AI for productivity in development is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in software architecture or related domains are preferred.
