Job Overview

The SAP Head will lead the implementation and support of all business process areas, ensuring the successful deployment of SAP Best Practices. This includes providing functional and technical expertise to the business development team, solutions team, and projects. The primary focus is on delivering leadership and direction for SAP projects.

This role requires close collaboration with project managers to ensure timely completion and adherence to business goals. Additionally, the SAP Head will provide support to teams working on SAP implementations, conduct discovery sessions with business representatives, build relationships, understand unique business needs, provide system support, identify errors, and resolve them in a timely manner as per business expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analysis, advisory services, specification, and complex problem-solving within the SAP area. Lead and assist in SAP design sessions or blueprint workshops.
  • Expert in hand-holding with business users and impact analysis. Primary function is to ensure that financial processes and transactions are accurately recorded, reported, and analyzed.
  • Validate and enhance integration points between strategy, planning, finance, supply chain, sales, and production processes, SAP components like Fiori, Portal, Analytics, and other allied systems.
  • Lead SAP S4HANA Implementation/support Projects for at least 10-15 years in manufacturing company. Knowledge of Agro Chemical & Seed Business is an additional advantage.
  • Minimum three full lifecycle SAP S4HANA implementations & three support projects.

  • Good Communication, facilitation, relationship building, and writing skills
  • Good understanding of crops and markets for plant nutrition/Agri inputs
  • Building collaboration and partnerships. Strong in Stakeholder Management
  • Sound interpersonal skills. Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Prior experience as a consultant.

  • B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, CA, ICWA
  • ABAP Knowledge, SAP Certified, PMP, Experience of Data Design, Data Classification & Data Security
