Manufacturing Process Specialist

Alten is seeking an experienced manufacturing specialist with strong expertise in the aviation sector.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for aircraft structures, systems, and equipment. They will create and maintain routing sheets and standard operating instructions in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, update, and optimize manufacturing processes for aircraft structures, systems, and equipment.
  • Create and maintain routing sheets and standard operating instructions in compliance with industry standards.
  • Interpret and work with technical drawings and 3D models to support production activities.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience in aviation and aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems and structures.
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes (structures, equipment, systems).
  • Skilled in routing and SOI creation/updates.
  • Proficiency in technical drawings and 3D models.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (AIPS, AIPI).
  • Working knowledge of SAP (manufacturing and logistics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, with professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Skills:
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Final Assembly Line environment.
  • Experience with AR, IC, and S03 process.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Proactive mindset.

This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field.

The successful candidate will develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes that meet industry standards. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production activities and resolve any technical issues that may arise. In addition, they will maintain accurate records and documentation of manufacturing processes and adhere to company policies and procedures.
