ERP Manager Job Description

About the Role

The ERP manager is responsible for overseeing technology risk management activities in the manufacturing process. Their primary goal is to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage user access privileges effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for business transaction data processing to maintain data integrity and business continuity.
  • Ensuring ERP user management access privileges and password security.
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance for the manufacturing process by configuring and validating critical fields.
  • Managing technology risk activities in ERP for the manufacturing process, including developing and implementing a comprehensive disaster recovery plan.
  • Configuring regulatory requirements for interfacing with government portal APIs and managing master configuration.
  • Customizing legal document output forms for customer and vendor interactions.
  • Identifying high, medium, and low-priority user issues in daily business processes and resolving them through front-end and back-end troubleshooting.
  • Securing transactions by configuring stop dates for unwanted updates and restricting user access based on roles and privilege levels.
  • Monitoring system implementation, support, analysis, integration, and logical security to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A graduate degree from a technical or business school (BE/BCA/MBA/PGDBM/MCA) with at least 5 years of experience in ERP modules, including Purchase, Inventory, Production, Quality Control, Sales, Export, Finance, HR Payroll, and Personal.

Technical & Functional Skills

Proficiency in SQL, Excel Pivot, RDF, DLD, and functional modules such as Purchase, Inventory, Production, Quality Control, Sales, Export, Finance, HR Payroll, and Personal, with business process knowledge required.
