Lead Architect Job Description

As a senior member of our architectural team, you will be responsible for collaborating with concept design groups to create high-complexity project designs. Your role involves guiding the refinement of selected design options into schematic and final designs, working closely with stakeholders on value engineering, reviewing and validating design deliverables with clients and authorities.

You will also work with our Quantity Surveying Department to develop tender documents and provide support during the tender process. Additionally, you will assist project managers in developing, reviewing, and updating work programs and man-hour estimates, managing project budgets, resource allocation, and project schedules.

Furthermore, you will provide support to project managers in monitoring and managing the projects' budget and schedule, assist with implementing quality control policies and procedures on design deliverables, and conduct peer reviews on team members' deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, a Master's Degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred, and 10+ years of industry experience in an architectural design function. You should have a strong experience and track record in developing architectural designs for large and complex projects, in-depth knowledge and proven track record in the architectural design field, understanding of international engineering standards and codes, and exposure to global best practices and trends in the architectural design.
