Job Title

A Team Leader Retail Analyst plays a pivotal role in leading and supporting the establishment of a team of analysts who implement end-of-day reconciliation processes across inventory and cash operations.

This position requires effective workload distribution, monitoring team performance against key performance indicators, and providing hands-on support for customer concerns and process improvements.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead a newly established team of analysts to ensure data integrity, identify and investigate variances, and support compliance with operational standards across ANZ retail sites.
  • Support the team in resolving sophisticated reconciliation issues across fuel, inventory, and cash workflows.
  • Supervise the allocation of daily tasks and ensure balanced workloads across the team.
  • Monitor workflow progress and prioritize in response to operational needs or urgent issues.
  • Track and report on team KPIs, including reconciliation accuracy, variance resolution time, and workflow completion rates.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and contribute to performance reviews and development planning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-12 years of proven experience in a relevant field.
  • Quality and training management experience.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with reconciliation workflows and retail operations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative and encouraging approach.
