Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounts

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Manager in the Finance and Accounts department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

  • Verify and account for bank payment entries in ERP
  • Verify and account for cash payment entries in ERP
  • Prepare bank NEFT letters and obtain signatures from authorized persons for payment
  • Prepare payment advises and send emails to concerned departments
  • Prepare fund requirement statements as per fund requirements and obtain signatures from authorized persons for fund requests to HO
  • Verify and account for consultancy bills and recommend payment
  • Sponsored research projects, consultancy project bills verification and accounting
  • Update and maintain dashboards for university overhead income, professional development funds, etc.
  • Monthly closing of all journal entries and other accounting entries
  • Prepare monthly cash books with closing cash on hand
  • Prepare daily bank and cash balance dashboards
  • Students' refunds reconciliation
  • Vehicle loan EMI payments and reconciliation
  • Processing of PF, ESI, professional tax, TDS payments
  • Providing information for TDS returns filing
  • Collecting provisional and final investment declarations for income tax and supporting documents from employees and updating them in ERP
  • Coordinating employee form 16
  • Verification and processing of salaries
  • Verification and processing of Ph.D., PDF, and M.Tech stipends
  • Full and final settlement of salary for resigned employees
  • Finding new processes for improving existing processes
  • Providing data, bills, and other information for necessary agencies according to their templates
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: CA-Inter, ICMA-Inter
  • Good accounting knowledge
  • Candidates should have strong Excel, Word, and ERP skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Job stability
