Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead our team and oversee the coordination of operational functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in monitoring workflows, managing resources, and ensuring efficient processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising shift managers and their teams, reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly to ensure all team members meet expectations in quality, timelines, and communication.

Additionally, the Operations Manager will ensure full compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), identify areas of inefficiency or data integrity issues, and propose automation, smarter flows, and better controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate operational functions to ensure efficient and effective processes
  • Supervise shift managers and their teams to ensure high-quality work
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and identify areas for improvement
Financial and Accounting Functions
  • Set goals and objectives for the team based on company guidelines
  • Manage financial matters and maximize revenue using established indicators and tools
People Management Functions
  • Lead and motivate operations teams to maintain adequate staffing levels
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and establish targets and objectives
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Familiarity with freight forwarding procedures and financials
  • Bachelor's degree in any field (commerce, international trade, logistics preferred)
  • 5+ years of industry-related experience, including 2+ years of team management experience
