Product Engineering Lead

About the Role:

We're seeking a seasoned Product Engineering Lead to spearhead the development of new and emerging product lines. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with senior leaders, product managers, developers, quality analysts, and infrastructure specialists to establish a robust product engineering process.

The ideal candidate will be reasonably hands-on and able to take charge of end-to-end product engineering requirements for multiple product lines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a product roadmap for your team and drive execution in collaboration with strategy, product, and business teams.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and deploy suitable tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to enhance productivity and problem-solving among product engineers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products within agreed timeframes.
  • Own non-functional requirements (NFRs) for products.
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.
  • Responsible for full-stack product development, release, architecture, design, testing, and deployment within agreed timeframes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12-20 years of experience in product development companies.
  • Proficiency in Agile software development and management methods.
  • Adept at using off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch if they meet requirements.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
