Job Opportunity

The Mid-Voltage Regulator Team is focused on developing high current mid-voltage regulators for enterprise, industrial, personal electronics, artificial intelligence, and autonomous driving applications.

As a Validation Engineer, you will work closely with design, test, systems, and application engineers to ensure our power solutions meet customer requirements while being optimized for performance and cost.

  • Develop validation boards, schematics, and layouts that match customer use-cases and applications.
  • Build, design, and document full validation plans that require a detailed understanding of the device and system environment.
  • Define validation strategies in terms of hardware, software, and instrumentation.
  • Create and implement validation test cases using scripting languages such as Python, Test stand, and Labview.
  • Benchmark devices and perform system-level and parametric tests with a focus on resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborate with design and firmware teams to support customer needs and implement custom features in firmware.
  • Debug device and setup-related issues and drive them to closure independently.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide modifications or tweaks as necessary.

This role requires expertise in analog power electronics and excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills. You must be able to work well with colleagues and customers to foster a collaborative working environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with 5-15 years of relevant experience. Experience in validation engineering of analog products, hardware debugging, and expertise in tools such as Simplis, Matlab, Altium, PSPICE, LabView, and Python are highly desirable.
