Mid-Voltage Regulator Engineer

 

High current mid-voltage regulators are in high demand due to trends in enterprise, industrial, personal electronics, artificial intelligence, and autonomous driving. The goal of the Mid-Vin Buck product line is to deliver optimized power package solutions for improved performance, reliability, and throughput.

As a Validation Specialist, you will leverage strong technical knowledge to bring differentiated power solutions to customers globally. You will partner closely with Design, Test, Systems, and Application engineers to ensure our power solutions meet customer and market requirements while being technically and cost-wise optimized.

The role involves developing validation boards, schematics, and layouts matching customer use cases and applications. You will build, design, and document the full validation plan, define the validation strategy, and implement test cases on different scripting languages.

You will work with design and Firmware teams to support customer needs, debug devices and setup-related issues, and drive issues to closure independently. Additionally, you will engage with customer issues and fixes with application engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
  • 5-15 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in validation engineering of analog products
  • Demonstrated hardware debugging skills
  • Excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of semiconductor power switches like MOSFET, IGBT, and SiC MOSFET
  • Expertise in tools such as Simplis, Matlab, Altium, PSPICE, Lab View, Python, and Schematic and PCB layout design in Altium

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in simulating and designing inverters and/or DCDC converters
