About the Job

As a Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating system-level performance and ensuring our power solutions meet customer and market requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop validation boards, schematics, and layouts that match customer use cases and applications.
  • Build, design, and document full validation plans, requiring a detailed understanding of devices and system environments.
  • Define validation strategies in terms of hardware, software, and instrumentation.
  • Develop and implement test cases using scripting languages like Python, LabView, etc.
  • Bring devices to the bench, perform system-level and parametric testing, and drive issue resolution independently.
  • Collaborate with design and firmware teams to support customer needs and implement custom features.
  • Debug device and setup-related issues and engage with customers to provide fixes and modifications as needed.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead teams in complex design tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

1-2 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in validation engineering of analog products

Demonstrated hardware debugging skills

Excellent time management and communication skills

Experience in simulating and designing inverters and/or DCDC converters

Knowledge of semiconductor power switches

Expertise in tools like Simplis, Matlab, Altium, PSPICE, LabView, and Python

Schematic and PCB layout design in Altium

Physical layout management, signal grounding, and routing tradeoffs

Ability to work well with colleagues and customers to foster a collaborative environment
