Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing tests and testing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute tests and testing systems for application software or web-based applications.
  • Analyze and test complex engineering software.
  • Test in embedded environments.
  • Display a sound understanding of software development life-cycles.
  • Develop and track system test metrics.
  • Interface with other team members representing a wide range of disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology (B Tech) or Master's in Computer Application (MCA) or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in manual software testing.
  • Experience analyzing and testing complex engineering software.
  • Experience testing in embedded environments is a plus.
  • Sound understanding of software development life-cycles.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, and other MS Office Applications.
  • Experience with test automation is desirable.
  • Experience in software testing with web-based applications.
  • Experience with automation experience with Selenium + Java.
  • Well-experienced with scripting languages like JavaScript or Shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of databases and SQL.
  • Knowledge or experience in transit domain or AFCS is desirable.
  • Knowledge or experience with test management tools, project management tools is desirable.
