Job Title: Devops Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Devops Specialist to join our team.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Middleware technologies such as Websphere, CFT, MQSeries, Kafka
  • Kubernetes and associated tools including Docker, Helm, ArgoCD
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Release
  • Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, LogDna, Sysdig
  • Scripting languages such as Ansible, Shell, SQL
  • Scheduling Management with Autosys
  • Tracking/ticketing tools including Service Now, JIRA
  • Network protocols
  • Database management
  • Knowledge of ITIL and experience in handling Incident, Problem, Change
  • General IT infrastructure knowledge
  • Preferrable knowledge on banking application

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles, be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of all applications and services by implementing automated processes, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting issues promptly.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement automated processes and workflows
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all automated processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Devops or related field
  • Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Ansible, Shell, SQL
  • Experience with middleware technologies such as Websphere, CFT, MQSeries, Kafka
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, LogDna, Sysdig
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
