Key Requirements:

  • Total experience of 5+ years in the field of DevOps.
  • Strong working experience in Apache Cassandra 4.1 administration and architecture.
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting complex systems and infrastructure.
  • Proficient in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Java).
  • Strong experience with AWS, including provisioning, operating, and managing services.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with web services testing and automation.
  • Familiarity with AWS APIs and cloud-native monitoring/logging tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing high-quality code and reviewing it for quality assurance.
  • Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing clients' needs in the context of the project.
  • Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
  • Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets.
  • Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
  • Leading/supporting UAT and production roll-outs.
  • Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given modules/tasks, and justifying it.
  • Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Giving constructive feedback to team members and setting clear expectations.
  • Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs.
  • Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and justifying the decision taken.
  • Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested designs/technologies meet the requirements.
