About this position

This role involves developing and implementing innovative solutions to drive business success, managing complex financial tasks, and analyzing business processes to ensure robust governance and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic solutions to address business challenges and enhance performance.
  • Plan, organize, and manage financial operations across the organization.
  • Analyze business processes to identify core issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee monthly closing of financial records and prepare management reports.
  • Prepare regular financial reports with detailed variance analysis and ageing information.
  • Create and monitor budgets and forecasts; analyze variances and provide actionable insights.
  • Head the internal audit department and implement audit tools to improve efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Submit and revise Internal Audit Charters and Audit Plans as required.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and implement effective strategies.
  • Participate in value improvement initiatives and project reviews to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation.
  • Contribute to profit optimization through detailed contribution analysis reports.
  • Liaise with statutory and internal auditors for audits and financial reviews.
  • Coordinate budget preparation and operational planning with department heads.
  • Oversee accounts receivables and payables, reconciliation processes, and other financial functions.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 20 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, and compliance is required. A Chartered Accountant or MBA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration is also required.
