Job Overview

This is a key role in the Group Technology department, reporting to VP – Security & Governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex security architecture solutions to protect DP World Australia's digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Information Security Architect will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining security architecture artefacts to ensure alignment with enterprise security policies and industry standards.
  • Designing and delivering cloud native security architectures to support business growth and innovation.
  • Providing expert advice on application development, database design, network and platform security to respective teams.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security systems with operational processes and improve organisational resilience.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging security threats and designing mitigation strategies to protect against them.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in application security, cyber security, or similar.
  • Significant experience in designing and delivering complex security architecture solutions in large organisations.
  • Industry recognised cyber security certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong expertise in a wide range of technologies including security solutions, cloud platforms, databases, APIs, and others.
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
