Geographic Information Systems (GIS) play a vital role in many sectors, including urban planning, emergency response, and resource management.

Job Description

We seek a skilled GIS Specialist to assist in creating and maintaining accurate maps and spatial datasets using industry-leading software like ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online. This role involves working with complex data sets to develop insightful visualizations that support business decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience working with GIS tools and technologies, preferably in the utility sector.
  • A Master's degree in Geoinformatics or a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of Esri software and principles of GIS, including database management and spatial data processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Map creation and maintenance: Develop and implement effective map-based solutions for various projects using ArcGIS.
  • Analysis and collaboration: Perform spatial analysis to provide actionable insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data into business processes.
  • Learning and automation: Leverage tools like FME Desktop/Server or open-source GIS software to automate workflows and optimize efficiency.
