Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced storage professional to join our team as a Storage SME.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Hitachi mid-range and enterprise storages, including operations support, zoning via Cisco SAN switches, and storage replication technologies.

They will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of SAN and storage environments, including collaborating with customer support teams, participating in problem-solving and troubleshooting, and maintaining storage documentation and procedures.

Additionally, the candidate will manage infrastructure events, perform capacity analysis, and provide remediation recommendations.

They will also oversee the design, installation, configuration, and de-provisioning of storage solutions, and mentor and train junior administrators.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in handling storage activities mentioned in the scope
  • Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure
  • Exposure to operations and management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), unified compute platforms, and various host OS including basic cluster management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hitachi technical certification is desirable
