Transaction Monitoring Expert

This role is focused on mitigating financial crime risk by managing Transaction Monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, problem-solving, and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Transaction Monitoring tools to mitigate financial crime risk.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on technical solutions and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate degree in Management/Statistics/Mathematics or Graduate degree in Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in Transaction Monitoring with at least 5 years focused on financial crime threat mitigation tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience as a Product Owner to manage Transaction Monitoring tools to mitigate financial crime risk is essential.
  • Project Management skills and presentation skills are essential.
  • Certification from the ACAMS - Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists or equivalent is preferred.
  • Statistical Modelling/Machine Learning/Data Analysis expertise.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, R, SQL and familiarity with data engineering practices for model integration.
