**App Monitoring Specialist Role**

We are looking for a highly skilled App Monitoring Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application monitoring and experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration. They will be responsible for troubleshooting user issues, performing root cause analysis, and identifying recurring issues to ensure long-term fixes.

The successful candidate will also have expertise in setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications, including defining and fine-tuning alerts, and integrating Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should have a strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks, as well as the ability to analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting user issues and performing root cause analysis
  • Identifying recurring issues and ensuring long-term fixes
  • Setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications
  • Defining and fine-tuning alerts
  • Integrating Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling
  • Analyzing and optimizing application code with respect to error handling and alerting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration
  • Experience in operational application management
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks
  • Ability to analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles
