Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling communication strategies and narratives for policy and election campaigns.
  • Oversee digital advertising strategy and execution, using analytics to optimize performance.
  • Build and lead a team of creators to produce engaging content, including videos.
  • Drive growth and engagement by optimizing videos for YouTube algorithms and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Stay ahead of YouTube trends, experiment with new formats, and analyze competitor channels.
  • Identify and build relationships with relevant creators to collaborate on projects and expand reach.
  • Develop crisis communication plans as needed, ensuring timely response management.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Indian politics, history, and current affairs.
  • 8-10 years of experience in communications, video production or channel management, ideally in media (journalism) or PR/communications agency settings.
  • Expertise in YouTube, including algorithm, content strategy, and SEO.
  • Strong ability to craft compelling narratives for video, from scripting to guiding the final edit.
  • Skilled in managing video production workflows, creative teams, and project timelines.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, with a proactive approach and strong sense of ownership.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with excellent English written and verbal skills.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools, including YouTube Studio.
