Railway Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with railway officials to ensure smooth rail operations and efficient logistics movement.
- Coordinate the movement of iron ore through railways, minimizing delays and ensuring compliance with logistical regulations.
- Maintain regular communication with railway departments to track rake allocation and movement status in real-time.
- Resolve operational issues related to rail logistics, promoting a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements in all logistical operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-12 years of experience in railway logistics, preferably in the mining or iron ore sector.
- Excellent liaison and coordination skills, enabling effective collaboration with railway departments.
- Strong understanding of rail freight operations, logistics planning, and optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve complex challenges swiftly and effectively.
Location Advantage:
