Logistics Coordinator Role

Job Summary:

Emerson seeks a skilled Logistics Coordinator to provide logistics support for multiple projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various teams, performing designated logistics activities, and ensuring timely shipping releases.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate with Order Management, Sales, Project Execution, and Finance teams
    • Perform designated logistics activities with a clear understanding of Inco-terms
    • Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with custom rules
    • Book shipments, prepare COO, and obtain attested documents
    • Closely coordinate with Trade Compliance and EHS Teams
    • Pre-alert customers and obtain POD for delivered goods
    • Process GRN Receipts and follow up with factory for payment invoice
    • Invoice dispatch within 24 hours from POD receipt
    • Upload invoices on Customer Portals/Emails/Couriers within 5 days

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Commerce

Strong communication skills in English - both written and verbal

2-3 years of experience in Shipping and Logistics

Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years industry work experience in Shipping and Logistics

French and/or Arabic language capabilities

Working knowledge of SAP
