Head Branding and Communications Leader

Job Description:

The Head Branding and Communications Leader will be responsible for building, enhancing and positioning our brand across stakeholders.

This role requires strategic oversight of brand identity, external communications, media relations and PR campaigns to increase visibility, reputation and engagement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Brand Strategy & Management:
  • Develop and Execute Branding Strategy: Align branding strategy with institutional goals.
  • Ensure Consistency: Maintain consistency of brand identity across all channels (digital, print, events).
  • Build Brand Recall and Equity: Establish brand recall and equity within the education ecosystem.
  • Public Relations & Media Management:
  • Develop Strong Relationships: Foster strong relationships with media, influencers and industry bodies.
  • Draft Communications: Draft press releases, articles and speeches for leadership.
  • Manage Reputation: Manage media coverage, crisis communication and institutional reputation.
  • Digital & Social Media Presence:
  • Drive Brand Presence: Drive brand presence on social media platforms.
  • Oversee Content Strategy: Oversee content strategy, storytelling and digital campaigns.
  • Leverage Analytics: Leverage analytics for continuous improvement.
  • Events & Outreach:
  • Organize Events: Organize branding events, education fairs, conferences and community outreach.
  • Ensure Institutional Visibility: Ensure institutional visibility at national and international forums.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Manage Internal Communications: Manage internal communications and alumni engagement.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with academic, CRC and admissions teams for brand alignment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to develop and execute branding strategies, maintain brand consistency, build brand recall and equity, and manage public relations and media relations.

Experience in digital and social media marketing, event management and stakeholder communication.

Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. Master's degree preferred.
