Job Title: Technology Director

BLJ Tech Geeks is seeking an experienced and dynamic Technology Director to lead our IT division in Bengaluru. This pivotal role involves overseeing the technology strategy and operations for our company, managing client engagements, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for the IT division to align with the company's business objectives and growth targets.
  • Client Management: Manage and nurture relationships with multiple clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and successful engagement outcomes.
  • Client Engagements: Oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
  • P&L Ownership: Own and manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the IT division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of IT services, including project management, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and expansion of the company's IT services portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive technology initiatives and support business objectives.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience: 15+ years in technology management, with a strong track record of managing client engagements and leading technology teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise: In managing P&L responsibilities and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding: Of IT service delivery, project management, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: With the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in an IT services environment: Is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: And the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
