Network Management Software Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Management Software Developer to join our team. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing network management software solutions using Java.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP) and experience with network management tools and technologies (NetFlow, Wireshark). You will work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and other development teams to ensure software solutions meet business and technical requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing network management software solutions using Java
  • Integrating network management solutions with various network devices, protocols, and third-party systems
  • Optimizing network management applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to network management software
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and code comments
  • Developing and executing unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure software quality
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on network management or related fields
  • Experience with network protocols and management systems is preferred
  • Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP)
  • Experience with network management tools and technologies (NetFlow, Wireshark)
