As a software engineer at a global leader in high-speed connectivity, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software components for routing platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software components for Ciena's routing platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and programming skills in C, C++, Python.
  • In-depth understanding of Linux OS and open-source software development.
  • Experience in designing and developing L2/L3 networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with manageability frameworks such as Yang/XML.
  • Proficiency in using Atlassian tools, Git, and Jenkins.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good in-depth understanding and hands-on experience with one or more of the following protocols: MPLS(RSVP-TE, LDP)/ISIS , BGP and other dynamic routing protocols.
