About this Position

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to oversee the development and execution of our platform organization. This individual will be responsible for driving strategy and ensuring technical direction aligns with business priorities.

  • Platform Vision: Develop and communicate a clear, long-term vision for the platform organization, outlining key objectives and milestones.
  • Frontend Enablement: Establish and maintain frameworks and shared component libraries to accelerate development in modern technologies such as Vue, TypeScript, and Node.
  • Data Platform & Compliance: Implement unified approaches for data ingestion, governance, observability, and schema validation across multiple data stores including MongoDB, Firestore, and Elasticsearch.
  • Infrastructure & Cloud Operations: Lead ownership of Kubernetes clusters, networking, infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Helm, and cloud security.
  • Developer Experience & Reliability: Champion robust continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, progressive rollout practices, fault-injection testing, and end-to-end observability standards.
  • Security & Compliance: Collaborate with InfoSec and Legal teams to integrate controls for SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other regional frameworks.
  • Leadership & Culture: Foster growth and mentorship opportunities for engineers across platform, infrastructure, and data domains.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience, including 5+ years leading platform, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering (SRE) teams in high-scale SaaS environments.
  • Proven expertise in Kubernetes and a major cloud provider.
  • Strong foundation in TypeScript/Node.js, container orchestration, IaC, service meshes, and event-driven systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver multi-region or data-residency compliant architectures.
  • Track record of implementing CI/CD, observability, contract testing, and reliability practices.
