Process Engineer Role

This is a leadership position that requires a strong background in Chemical Engineering and 18 to 20 years of experience in process departments.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Completing designs and process engineering deliverables on time.
  2. Adhering to departmental and quality systems working instructions.
  3. Overseeing work progress and work-hour usage.
  4. Maintaining long-term relationships with clients and meeting their expectations.

Requirements include:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering Discipline with Minimum 18 to 20 years of experience in process departments.
  • Knowledge in carrying out basic and detailed engineering work, including performing process calculations like heat & mass balance, Utility sizing for API, OSD and Biotech Projects.
  • Experience with simulation software's such as HYSYS, ASPEN, and preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Strong knowledge on layout designing of API, OSD, Sterile and Biotech Projects, Area classification and man material flow concepts, and regulatory requirements of USFDA, MHRA, and WHO etc.

Key Performance Indicators include ensuring up-to-date and reliable statistical information on project performance, improving productivity by means of reduction of rework and errors, and monitoring the work and progress are in compliance with the project requirements and schedule.

Responsibilities also include reviewing technical requirements of client's specifications, investigating, analyzing and implementing systems, and methods to improve efficiency and accuracy, and maintaining contact with other disciplines/groups to ensure proper interchange of information and documents.

As a seasoned professional in this field, you will serve as an expert within your function and discipline, interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices, solving complex problems, leading functional teams or projects, and serving as a best practice/quality resource.
