Incident Manager

The Incident Management team at Amazon Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) supports multiple stores by providing 24/7 services, including alarm monitoring and response. As an Incident Manager you will work directly with customers, law enforcement, delivery associates, and operations to navigate and manage security and operational risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide critical incident management support to teams on-road and customers receiving shipments or services from Amazon by researching and resolving issues with internal tools.
  • Triage and prioritize incoming incidents and collaborate with senior leadership.
  • Transfer lower severity calls to appropriate partners, including Customer Service and Delivery Services.
  • Manage phone communications and facilitate the flow of information between various internal and external customers.
  • Compose clear and concise reports in a timely manner, which will be escalated to senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Conversational level fluency in German and English.
  • Effective computer skills, as needed for work, e.g., data entry, MS Office Suite, and programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Demonstrates effective, clear, and professional written and oral communication and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates effective composure, empathy, and a positive, professional attitude.
