Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Synapse Analytics. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, as well as expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and Python for data processing and transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Ingestion and Transformation: Develop and maintain data lake solutions in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2, perform data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration across structured and unstructured datasets.
  2. Scalable Data Architectures: Design and implement scalable data architectures following Medallion Architecture and best practices.
  3. SQL Query Optimization: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  4. CI/CD Pipelines: Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps.
  5. Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in Azure-based data solutions.
Requirements
  • Azure Data Engineering Expertise: Strong experience in Azure Data Engineering with Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Databricks.
  • Programming Skills: Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and Python for data processing and transformation.
  • Big Data Processing: Hands-on experience with PySpark for big data processing.
  • ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Experience in designing ETL/ELT pipelines and working with large datasets.
  • Azure Data Lake Expertise: Proficiency with Azure Data Lake (ADLS) Gen2 for data storage and processing.
  • DevOps Knowledge: CI/CD and DevOps knowledge, including Azure DevOps, Git, and automated deployments.
