Job Opportunity: Resiliency Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Resiliency Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing resiliency-focused testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.
  • Performing stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities.
  • Providing actionable insights and risk assessments to engineering and leadership teams based on test results.
  • Collaborating with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations after conducting root cause analysis on test failures.
  • Identifying performance bottlenecks and proposing resiliency enhancements during system disruption scenarios.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages including Python and Java.
