Job Title: Lead Marine Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned marine infrastructure engineer to spearhead the development of our port projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, project management, and marine infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, analysis, and execution of key structural components for port infrastructure, including breakwaters, jetties, quays, docks, and seawalls.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and project timelines through technical leadership and oversight for project management consultancy (PMC).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: work closely with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs into the overall project.
  • Ensure that all structural designs and construction work comply with regulatory guidelines and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality standards for structural integrity and sustainability during site activities.
  • Apply advanced structural engineering principles to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, resilience, and environmental sustainability.
  • Create progress reports, design reviews, and technical documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on marine and port infrastructure, with significant PMC experience.
  • Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering, specializing in marine structures or coastal engineering.
  • Proven experience in project management of large-scale port projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and other tools for design and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of marine structures, including their response to wave forces, tide variations, sediment movement, and marine environmental conditions.
  • Able to lead and manage teams, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Expertise in contract management, procurement, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to present design concepts and project progress to stakeholders and clients.
