Job Title: Construction Contracts Manager
The position involves overseeing and managing construction contracts from inception to completion.
- Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate project records for all claim-related matters, ensuring chronological documentation.
- Ensure familiarity with the Employer's requirements based on package-wise Conditions of Contract and project schedule.
- Identify changes to project scope, schedule, and cost, and notify the employer in a timely manner.
- Track submitted claims individually, prepare contractual justification, and substantiate Contractor's claims with additional supporting documents.
- Prepare Contractual reply/request to the employer for claim approval.
- Prepare Claim documents.
- Prepare a detailed claim statement for Submission to DAAB.
- Present a detailed account of the claim from start to present status to the Advocate for dispute resolution.
- Update claim status to RO / HO.
- Coordinate with the project team to obtain necessary details and inputs as required by Ho/RO team.
- Prepare Comprehensive EOT application, substantiating with contemporary records and references.
- Ensure claims raised by the project team are substantiated with Contract entitlements in accordance with Conditions of clause.
- Provide input to the DAAB committee and advocate for arbitration.
- Meet deadlines without delay, working under pressure.
- Collaborate closely with the reporting manager and provide additional reports/work as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and cost management skills, along with knowledge and experience in standard method of measurements and contracts administration.
